Work Environment This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Metuchen, NJ. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that each patient receives integrated care tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical capabilities and limitations. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on the evaluation findings, clinical evidence, and patients' goals. Administering evidence-based therapies, employing a range of techniques tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies to maximize rehabilitation outcomes. Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers to enhance understanding and engagement in the rehabilitation process. Demonstrating exemplary customer service during each patient interaction to cultivate a trusting and motivating environment. Meeting and striving to exceed minimum utilization goals and other business objectives. Patient Population / Client Focus This role encompasses working with a broad spectrum of patient populations, including but not limited to orthopedic conditions, pediatric patients, neurological impairments, and sports-related injuries. You will leverage your expertise to create tailored rehabilitation programs that not only address physical limitations but also enhance the overall quality of life for each patient you serve. Building strong relationships with your patients is vital, as it fosters trust and encourages them to embrace their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution recognized by APTA or
CAPTE. A
valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by proficiency in word processing and computer systems. Preferred Experience Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience in physical therapy practice. Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated skill in creating effective treatment plans and those who exhibit a passion for supporting patients in their recovery. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range ofUSD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
