Work Environment The position is based in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located onsite in Old Bridge, New Jersey. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing therapy services in a well-equipped setting that fosters comfort and recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans. Manage patient caseloads efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and care. Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective treatments that enhance mobility and physical function, emphasizing manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and optimize care strategies. Continuously evaluate patient progress, documenting updates, treatment effectiveness, and necessary adjustments to their care plan, in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, exercises, and preventative care strategies to support long-term health and wellness. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our clients vary in age and backgrounds, providing you with a fulfilling experience that challenges your skills and enhances your expertise in physical therapy. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required. Current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy services in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred. Demonstrated history of compliance with professional standards, with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures. Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player, as collaboration is key to our approach. Preferred Experience While 2 years of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with specialized training or certifications in orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, or pain management will be highly regarded.
