Our goal is to help people restore movement, rebuild strength, improve confidence, and continue progressing long after traditional rehabilitation ends. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, build and progress individualized treatment plans, and work alongside a team focused on delivering high-quality care through a combination of aquatic rehabilitation, land-based Physical Therapy, performance training, and wellness. You will have access to specialized equipment and treatment options including aquatic therapy, AlterG training, land-based rehabilitation, and continued wellness programming , giving you more tools to meet patients where they are and help them progress toward meaningful functional goals. And you do not need aquatic experience to join us. New graduates and entry-level Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. You will have the opportunity to work with patients using: Aquatic Physical Therapy and rehabilitation AlterG and body-weight-supported training Land-based therapeutic exercise Strength and conditioning principles Functional mobility and balance training Post-operative rehabilitation Wellness and continuation-of-care programs Specialized rehabilitation and performance equipment Aquatic Performance & Therapy was built around combining Physical Therapy, aquatic rehabilitation, exercise, and long-term wellness to help patients continue improving beyond symptom reduction alone. The practice works with a variety of patient needs, including orthopedic rehabilitation, joint replacement recovery, balance limitations, neurological conditions, arthritis, and patients looking to regain strength and function. Mentorship From the Beginning New graduates are welcome. You will not be expected to walk in already knowing aquatic rehabilitation or every part of our treatment model. Our team provides the mentorship and education needed to help you develop your clinical skills and confidence.

Founder John Dohanic, DPT, has an extensive background in aquatic rehabilitation and has developed education in aquatic rehabilitation and physical performance training throughout his career. What You Will Do As a Physical Therapist, you will: Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations Develop individualized plans of care Progress and update treatment plans based on patient response Deliver skilled Physical Therapy interventions Utilize aquatic and land-based treatment strategies when appropriate Educate patients on movement, exercise, recovery, and long-term wellness Monitor patient progress and functional outcomes Collaborate with support staff and other members of the team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Help support team development as the practice grows Take on supervisory responsibilities within the clinic Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinical environment A Continuum of Care Beyond Traditional Rehabilitation One of the unique parts of Aquatic Performance & Therapy is the ability to help patients progress through different stages of recovery. Instead of rehabilitation ending when a patient is simply feeling better, our model creates opportunities to transition patients from Physical Therapy into strengthening, performance, aquatic exercise, and ongoing wellness programs. The facility incorporates specialized aquatic training equipment, including underwater treadmills, bikes, and resistance equipment designed to support low-impact strength and conditioning. For a Physical Therapist, that means seeing more of the patient's journey and developing a deeper understanding of how rehabilitation connects with long-term movement, strength, and health. Your Schedule This is a full-time Physical Therapist position with the following typical schedule:Monday:
7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 6:30PM Tuesday:
7:00 AM to 1:00PM Wednesday:
7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 6:30PM Thursday:
7:00 AM to 3:30PM Friday:
7:00 AM to 1:00 PM No on-call responsibilities Appointments are typically 40 minutes , and support staff are available to help the clinical team.
