Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise in physical therapy will make a meaningful impact in a school setting. This engaging position provides the chance to work closely with a small caseload of students, supporting their growth and functional mobility in an educational environment. The role takes place one day each week, offering a balanced schedule that fits well with travel or other professional commitments. Services are delivered from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM with a caseload of approximately 8 students, beginning on August 10, 2026.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist with recognized credentials Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting Medicaid NCI # required Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams Excellent communication skills to engage students, staff, and families Commitment to security and ethical practice; candidates must pass a background check
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative PT services tailored to each student's educational plan Develop and implement treatment strategies to enhance student participation and success Maintain comprehensive documentation and Medicaid billing as needed Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive environment Use assessment tools to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly This position is designed for professionals seeking flexibility and meaningful engagement.
