Job Description

The mission of Dayton Physical Therapy is to provide patient centered physical therapy treatments focused on evidence-based practices and patient values. We will establish a rewarding work environment to promote a passionate team that will assist our patients in enhancing their function and quality of life. We are looking for an outgoing Physical Therapist to work with their patient's to assist them in reaching individual functional goals. You will help the local members of our community to maximize the quality of life with empowerment through movement. We are specifically looking for a physical therapist who is looking to grow into a leadership role and help us to grow our practice. This is a great opportunity for you to get in while the practice is small and build for your long term future. Responsibilities Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Offer evidence based and patient center treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility Assist in building a strong sports and orthopedic base Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness-, sports performance- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services Assist in building a relationship with the local youth athletes Skills Open to new graduates or experienced therapists Master or doctorate level education and clinical expertise Ability to manage patients with different types of injuries and personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid licence to practice physical therapy in the state of Nevada Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy

$38.00 - $48.00 per hour
