Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar clinical setting highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members Compassionate, patient-centered approach with adaptability to diverse student needs Reliable, organized, and able to manage a dynamic caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of physical and developmental needs Deliver direct physical therapy services as outlined in IEPs, adjusting interventions as required Maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and session outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insight and recommendations with staff and families Serve as a resource for educators regarding adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and gross motor development Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists as needed Perks of the
