Job Overview Winberg Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing sports and orthopedic Physical Therapy practice in New Hartford, NY. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-based care while working closely with local physicians, athletes, runners, and active individuals throughout the Mohawk Valley. About Winberg Physical Therapy Winberg Physical Therapy is an independently owned outpatient orthopedic practice dedicated to helping people return to the activities they love.
Our patients include:
Orthopedic injuries Post-operative rehabilitation Recreational and competitive athletes Runners Active adults High school and collegiate athletes We combine individualized patient care with evidence-based treatment and strong relationships with local physicians, athletic organizations, and our community. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive orthopedic evaluations. Develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans. Deliver one-on-one patient care focused on restoring function and improving performance. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress. Maintain timely and accurate documentation using our electronic medical record. Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness. Participate in community outreach programs, educational events, and injury prevention initiatives. Collaborate with our sports performance division (FORTE) as opportunities arise. Career Development As a Physical Therapist at Winberg Physical Therapy, you'll receive: 1:1 mentorship from the practice owner. Clinical autonomy with support when needed. Opportunities to contribute ideas that help shape our growing practice. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $62,500 to $68,000 annually , based on experience, productivity, and professional growth.

Employer contribution of $600/month toward health insurance 401(k) with 3% employer match 80 hours paid vacation beginning at hire Paid holidays Paid sick leave Paid Family Leave New York State Disability Benefits package valued at approximately $11,000 annually Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Current New York State Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to employment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for orthopedic and sports physical therapy. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

$62,500.00 - $68,000.00 per year
