PM Position:

10-month school year + 6-week summer program Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children. Center for Spectrum Services is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Physical Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team serving children ages 3-12 on the autism spectrum. This school-based opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful pediatric therapy in a collaborative, supportive environment. The Physical Therapist will deliver services based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), develop appropriate treatment plans, and work closely with educators, therapists, classroom staff, and families to support each child's physical and functional development.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, classroom staff, and families. Consult with team members regarding students' physical and functional needs. Maintain accurate treatment notes and clinical documentation. Complete quarterly and annual reports and evaluations. Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary team. Communicate effectively with students, families, coworkers, and other professionals.

Qualifications:

Current New York State Physical Therapist license required. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, as applicable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Pediatric experience is a plus. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is helpful but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
