Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license in New York (PT - NY) Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs Positive, team-focused attitude and dedication to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions for students ranging from PreK to school age Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and goals Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to address student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate findings to staff and parents Support inclusive classroom practices to maximize student participation and success This contract position begins as soon as possible and is slated to continue through June 25, 2027, offering 35 hours per week across five days. You'll become a trusted resource on-site, helping students develop critical functional and mobility skills.
