Qualifications:

Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT). Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued. Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students, staff, and families. Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet varied student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine students physical therapy needs within the educational environment. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in alignment with IEP goals. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students academic and functional success. Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records. Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations. Provide direct services as well as consultative support for classroom staff as needed.
