Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with young learners in a supportive school environment! This contract physical therapy position offers you the chance to engage with students from PreK through 5th grade, helping them develop essential skills for both school and life. You'll make a meaningful difference in a close-knit educational community covering just 5 square miles near Dublin, OH—so your travel between the three assigned buildings will be a breeze. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 35 students during a maternity leave coverage, working three days per week for a total of 23 hours. Immediate start is available, with the assignment continuing through January 15, 2027. What you'll bring: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Familiarity with school-aged populations, especially PreK-5th grade Strong organizational skills to juggle reports and schedules across multiple buildings Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams What you'll do: Deliver engaging, individualized physical therapy sessions to students on your caseload Regularly assess student progress, documenting growth and maintaining accurate progress reports Update IEP goals and Evaluation Team Reports as needed, ensuring each student receives targeted support Travel between three buildings—minimal distances within a small district Communicate consistently with school staff and families about student needs and achievements Envision yourself empowering young students through expert therapy and building strong school relationships, all while enjoying a manageable workload and flexible scheduling.
