Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to inform treatment strategies. Deliver targeted therapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, mobility exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to facilitate recovery. Document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Engage with patients during outpatient visits to promote active participation in their recovery process. Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes for each patient. Communicate effectively with clients and their families about treatment goals, progress updates, and post-discharge care instructions. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, or home health settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy. Experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and outpatient rehabilitation is highly desirable. Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate patient care documentation. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on treatment procedures and post-discharge care. Demonstrated ability to handle discharge planning efficiently while managing acute care needs and outpatient rehabilitation requirements.
