Job Summary Russell-Smith Holdings owns and oversees the daily operations of multiple Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) throughout the Cincinnati region, providing services and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join the Russell-Smith Holdings team. This position will provide physical therapy services across multiple facilities within our organization , working with individuals with a wide range of ages, abilities, and support needs. Our facilities include Takoda Trails , a 54-bed ICF serving school-aged children through adults; Brookside Extended Care , an 87-bed ICF ; and John Gray and Affinity Place , which are each 16-bed ICFs . The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary teams to promote mobility, positioning, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities Conduct initial, annual, and PRN physical therapy evaluations Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans based on each resident's functional needs and goals Evaluate, recommend, and fit residents for adaptive equipment, specialized seating systems, wheelchairs, and ambulation devices Provide direct physical therapy services as clinically indicated Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), therapy aides, and support staff as appropriate Provide staff and family education related to mobility, positioning, transfers, adaptive equipment, and individualized PT recommendations Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including coordination with school and day programs as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate electronic health record progress notes, evaluations, treatment documentation, and required compliance records Monitor residents for changes in mobility, positioning, functional status, and equipment needs Travel between Russell-Smith Holdings facilities as needed Qualifications Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team Valid driver's license with required automobile insurance coverage Previous physical therapy experience preferred Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and individuals with complex physical needs is preferred Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work , including lifting, repositioning, and assisting non-ambulatory residents Ability to safely assist with resident transfers, mobility, and positioning Ability to move, handle, and utilize wheelchairs, specialized seating systems, adaptive equipment, and other rehabilitation equipment Ability to work effectively in residential ICF settings serving individuals with varying levels of physical, developmental, medical, and behavioral support needs Ability to remain professional and respond appropriately when working with individuals who may exhibit behavioral challenges License/Certification Physical Therapy License in the State of Ohio (Required) Why Join the Russell-Smith Holdings Team? $90,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
