Job Description

Kettering Health Network seeks a Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based rehabilitative care across inpatient and outpatient settings. In this faith-based, patient-centered environment, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to restore function, mobility, and independence. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function Provide orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation across inpatient and outpatient settings Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and prevention Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to coordinate care Accurately document assessments, goals, and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) Participate in quality improvement, best-practice initiatives, and outcome tracking Support and model Kettering Health's faith-based, patient-centered mission and values Required Skills Physical therapy evaluation Treatment plan development Orthopedic rehabilitation Neurological rehabilitation Therapeutic exercise prescription Manual therapy techniques Patient and family education Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Interdisciplinary care coordination Outcome measurement and reporting
