1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Therapy position requiring 2 years of outpatient PTA experience and OK state license (license required if applicable). Details Work in the Outpatient Therapy department of a 265-bed regional referral center Treat a patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Occasional Saturday coverage may be required in in-patient rehab or acute care at the main hospital No on-call requirements Compact license not accepted Requirements Current OK state license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of outpatient PTA experience required Recent travel healthcare experience preferred Complete documentation of daily notes and discharge data Additional Information Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist Treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with medical needs and approved treatment plans Assist in maintaining the therapy department in a neat and orderly manner Local candidates within a certain radius may be considered at a reduced rate Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months from their previous direct employment Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
