Desired Background and Skills:

Current, valid Physical Therapy license for the state (or eligibility) Experience providing physical therapy services within a school setting strongly preferred Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families Compassionate, student-centered attitude Comfortable designing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services to a small caseload of students as indicated by their educational plans Develop and adjust individualized treatment interventions, targeting students' unique needs and compensatory service hours Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in accordance with school and professional guidelines Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation and progress in school activities Provide guidance and training to school personnel on strategies for supporting student mobility and safety
