Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students across K-12 in an urban, school-based setting. This full-time role is perfect for an experienced Physical Therapist who is eager to make an impact with a small, focused caseload, supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). Youll join a collaborative onsite team, working 35 hours weekly through June 10, 2027, providing personalized interventions and support for students in need.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license or certification required Proven experience in a school-based environment Previous work with K-12 students, especially those with ASD and ID Familiarity with the dynamics of an urban school Willingness to undergo required PA clearances Ability to provide licensure documentation prior to interview Strong communication and organizational abilities Comfortable participating in Zoom interviewsResponsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services for a K-12 caseload Engage regularly with teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure student progress Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with students IEPs Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions Support and educate staff and families regarding therapy and accessibility strategies Collaborate on proactive solutions to foster inclusive, successful learning environments Perks include working with smaller caseloads and low incidental classroom interruptions, offering the opportunity to focus on quality over quantity.
