Desired Qualifications & Skills:
Valid Physical Therapy license in the state Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, students, and families Knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and school documentation processes Compassionate, patient approach tailored to individual student needs Organizational skills to efficiently manage caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students with a range of needs, as prescribed in their IEPs Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress Work closely with teachers and other school staff to ensure interventions support students' educational goals Document services and progress accurately and in a timely manner Serve as a resource for families and school teams regarding physical development and adaptive strategies within the classroom
