Key Qualifications:

Current state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged children Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students needs Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to student growth and well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support students physical access in educational environments Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding interventions and supports
