Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Discover a unique opportunity to expand your expertise as a Part-Time Physical Therapist within a supportive and collaborative school environment near Norristown, PA. This contract role is designed for dedicated professionals eager to make a difference in the lives of students, while enjoying a flexible schedule and a welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you'll dedicate approximately one hour per week, along with participating in one team consultation each month. Two evaluations are also part of your responsibilities. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the remainder of the current school year, with the potential to continue into the summer.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania Experience providing PT services in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families Ability to balance a part-time schedule alongside other professional commitments Commitment to fostering student growth and independence through individualized care
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions to students, tailored to their unique needs and IEP goals Conduct two student evaluations to assess abilities and develop treatment plans Attend monthly team consultations, sharing insights and collaborating on student progress Document treatment sessions and outcomes in compliance with school and professional standards Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Enjoy the advantage of a great school environment and the flexibility to gain additional experience.
