Physical or Occupational Therapist - Wheelchair Evaluations The Wheelchair Clinic - 5.0 Memphis, TN Job Details PRN | Contract $65 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Diagnostic evaluation Pediatrics Orthopedics Occupational Therapy License Physical therapy Full Job Description The Wheelchair Clinic offers specialty therapist evaluations for custom wheelchairs, seating systems, and other medical equipment, and is looking for a PRN therapist with wheelchair equipment experience in the Memphis, Nashville, or Knoxville, TN area. Training in EMR system and evaluation protocol will be provided. Using a cloud-based software system, evaluations will be performed at patients' homes, facilities, and DME company locations. Some telehealth also available. $65.00 per one hour evaluation Mileage reimbursement for local travel, 20 mile radius from home Flexible work schedule during normal business hours Current license to practice in the state required. Current NPI number preferred. Qualifications Must be an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist licensed in TN and in good standing. Experience in acute, home health, and/or orthopedics settings across the Lifespan preferred. Experience in Custom Wheelchairs and DME equipment preferred. At least 1 year of experience with telehealth platforms and EMR systems preferred. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot with technology. Ability to set your own hours and complete reports within 24-48 hours of evaluation using the Wheelchair Clinic Platform. Availability for in-clinic options, telehealth and/or potential for in-home. Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for virtual sessions available. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive wheelchair evaluations to assess patient needs and mobility requirements. Perform In-person and/or telehealth evaluations Provide education to patients and families regarding wheelchair options and usage. Engage with pediatric and geriatric populations, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
