Job Description

Category Schools - PT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist (PT) providing telehealth and onsite services within a school setting. This role offers 10-12 hours per week in Salisbury, NC, focusing on supporting student health and mobility through tailored interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering physical therapy services both via telehealth platforms and in-person within the school environment. Supervising and collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to ensure quality care and effective therapy plans. Assessing student needs and developing individualized treatment plans to support functional mobility and participation in educational activities. Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements. Communicating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and promote student well-being.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Physical Therapist licensure in the applicable state. Experience providing physical therapy services in educational and healthcare settings. Proficiency in telehealth delivery of therapy services. Strong supervisory skills to mentor and guide PTAs. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
