Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Rembert, SC. This full-time position is tailored for professionals passionate about supporting K-12 students across several school sites in an itinerant capacity. You'll collaborate onsite with educational teams to help students access their curriculum through the development and implementation of physical therapy interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold an active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license Experience working with children or youth in an educational or pediatric setting is highly valued Capable of managing a multi-site itinerant caseload for K-12 students Familiarity with developing and executing treatment plans tailored to individual education programs (IEPs) Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other team membersKey Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students, promoting access to educational opportunities Assess, evaluate, and document student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines Travel between multiple school sites, providing onsite therapy support (no virtual component) Keep accurate records and contribute to IEP development for each student Stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapyBenefits and Perks:
