Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful Physical Therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school sites. This itinerant position runs through May 2027, offering a chance to collaborate with educational staff, support diverse student needs, and make a difference in a vibrant, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Physical Therapy license for the state of South Carolina Strong experience working in school settings with students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation standards, and therapeutic modalities for pediatrics Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant assignment Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite only (remote work is not available for this position) Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to ethical care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person physical therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload at designated schools Assess, plan, and execute individualized interventions to support students' academic and functional performance Conduct regular progress monitoring, data collection, and timely documentation in compliance with legal and district requirements Collaborate actively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal outcomes and integrate therapy into the educational context Attend IEP meetings and contribute specialized input as part of the student support team Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and school-based therapy trends This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in student success stories while bringing your skills to a forward-thinking educational setting.
