1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and SD licensure. Details Home health setting covering the Southern Black Hills area including Hot Springs, Custer, Edgemont, Hill City, Hermosa and surrounding areas Patient population includes medically compromised patients with CHF, COPD, DM, and cardiac conditions, as well as ortho, neuro, dementia, and general weakness diagnoses Patients range in age from early adulthood to geriatrics Uses EPIC for charting Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts No weekend rotation and no call requirements Mileage reimbursed at current IRS standard rates for travel between patient visits Requirements Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required SD PT licensure required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required General physical therapy skills including evaluation, intervention planning, medical assessment, and care plan development Additional Information Home Health Department team includes RN, LPN, OT, PTA, SLP, Aides, MSW, and case managers Orientation takes approximately 1 week and includes EPIC training, shadowing, and documentation process review Office closed on 6 major holidays Time off requests require manager approval Scrubs of any color or business casual attire accepted; no denim or sweats Free parking available Open to first-time travelers Facility is known for being traveler-friendly and frequently renews travel contracts 100-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
