Your role will focus on helping patients: Reduce pain Restore mobility Improve strength Increase balance and movement quality Recover after injury or surgery Return to work, recreation, exercise, and everyday activities Build confidence in their movement Develop strategies for long-term health and function You will be trusted to use your clinical judgment and Physical Therapy expertise throughout the rehabilitation process. What You Will Do Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations Develop individualized plans of care Provide skilled outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy Use therapeutic exercise and movement-based interventions Provide manual therapy when clinically appropriate Use neuromuscular re-education to improve movement and function Progress treatment based on patient response and measurable outcomes Educate patients about their condition and recovery Help patients remain engaged throughout their plan of care Track progress and adjust treatment when needed Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with other clinicians and members of the care team Build meaningful relationships with the patients you serve Grow Into a Stronger Physical Therapist Your development should continue after graduation.
