In this collaborative role, you'll deliver essential physical therapy services in diverse school environmentsincluding classrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, and even virtual spacesempowering students to navigate their educational surroundings and achieve their IEP goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy education program, including all required fieldwork Valid drivers license Up-to-date knowledge of Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners regulations and ethical standards Prior school-based or pediatric experience (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs Engage in the referral and assessment process, present at IEP meetings, and help develop individualized goals Support students with assistive technology and adaptive equipment Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of assessments and services Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Offer insights and guidance on transition-related services as students progress Stay current with best practices; complete professional development as needed Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication in all aspects of the role
