Monday -
Thursday:
7:00am to 5:00pm
Friday:
8:00am to 12:00pm Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a thorough understanding of human physiology. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life. We see 1 evaluation an hour and double up follow ups on the hour. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise programs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective discharge planning. Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, self-care strategies, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience A doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program in the US is required. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in acute care settings is preferred; familiarity with geriatrics is a plus. Knowledge of discharge planning processes and home community care practices. Proficiency in patient care techniques and an understanding of physiology related to rehabilitation. Previous experience in home health or inpatient therapy is advantageous.
