Role Description This is a full-time position, on-site Physical Therapist role located in Temple, TX and we also have an opening in our Harker Heights location. The Physical Therapist will support licensed physical therapists in providing exceptional care to patients by assisting with treatments and exercises designed to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate documentation of services. Active communication and collaboration with therapists, patients, and other care team members are key aspects of this role.
PURPOSE/SCOPE OF POSITION
To evaluate and treat physical therapy patients in accordance with the physician referral and the Plan of Care. To direct and promote patients participation in activities and exercise programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance in the least restrictive environment. To promote quality learning of skills and functions to safely deliver rehabilitation services and promote and maintain health. To ensure that physical therapy services reflect and support Integrity Rehab's mission/goals and are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPOSNSIBILITIES
(Includes the following but are not limited to other duties that may be assigned) Delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties Reports to the Clinic Director Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Technicians Possesses comprehensive knowledge and skills in practice of physical therapy.
