Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential physical therapy services within a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from November through February, covering a maternity leave in a supportive, collaborative setting. As an itinerant Physical Therapist, youll travel between multiple school locations, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid and active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license required. Strong preference for prior school-based experience. Must be comfortable supporting a diverse range of ages (K-12). Ability to work flexibly across different school sites.
Credentialing:
Candidates new to public school employment in Texas will need to complete fingerprinting via TEA; allow up to 7 days for clearance. Submission of references from your two most recent supervisors required for district consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs. Travel between multiple assigned school campuses to deliver care and document progress. Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service staff to ensure holistic support for each child. Assess and develop treatment plans that address both immediate needs and long-term goals. Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in meetings as required.
