This full-time itinerant physical therapy role begins November and continues through February, providing vital coverage during a maternity leave. What Youll Bring:

Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred Familiarity working with K-12 students across varying needs and developmental levels Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other educators and support staff Ability to travel between multiple school sites each week Up-to-date fingerprint clearance through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) or willingness to complete this step (processing may take up to 7 days) Ready availability of references from your two most recent supervisors for district review

What Youll Be Doing:

Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students, adapting interventions to individual student goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and access to educational settings Maintain detailed documentation of treatment, progress, and compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and support positive student outcomes through a team-based approach Travel daily to multiple schools to provide consistent, high-quality therapy coverage This is an on-site only position, with the opportunity to make a difference in several communities in a single school district.
