Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers—to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems. Educate patients and their families on treatment routines, home exercises, discharge planning, and community resources to support ongoing recovery. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement and safety in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within acute care, inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans for diverse patient populations including geriatric patients and pediatric clients. Experience with outpatient rehabilitation centers or outpatient clinic settings is highly preferred. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) management and adherence to clinical documentation standards. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their care plans. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across disciplines for comprehensive patient rehabilitation.
