v9544424-79849 Job Description A part-time physical therapy position is available to support Special Education students for the 2026/2027 school year in a school setting located in San Elizario, TX. Services will be provided to students ages 322 to enhance their learning experience and accessibility across various school environments, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, cafeterias, bathrooms, and virtual settings. Key responsibilities include delivering direct physical therapy services, facilitating the referral process, participating in assessment presentations and IEP meetings, assisting with standards-based IEP goal development, maintaining thorough documentation, collaborating with educational staff and parents, supporting assistive technology and adaptive equipment needs, and contributing to transition-related services. Additional tasks may be assigned to align with the goals set by the Director of Special Education.

Qualifications and preferred experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy education program, including all required fieldwork Valid drivers license Adherence to rules, regulations, and ethical standards set by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Prior school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred Employment details: Part-time schedule with hours and days to be determined Position duration from August 2026 to May 2027 Caseload size to be determined Applicants must provide a current resume, valid drivers license, Texas Physical Therapist license, and college transcripts.
