Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinic Director - Physical Therapist to lead our rehabilitation services with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our rehabilitation center, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while managing clinical teams and maintaining compliance with rehabilitation regulations. Key Responsilibities Clinical Leadership Provide direct patient evaluation and treatment consistent with a full or reduced caseload, as determined by clinic needs Operations Management Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow efficiency Monitor and manage key performance indicators (visits per day, units per visits, cancellation/no-show rates, patient satisfaction, discharge outcomes) Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements Maintain clinic equipment, supplies, and facility standards Oversee front-office operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, and billing accuracy Financial Performance Manage the clinic's budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability targets Monitor billing, coding, and reimbursement processes to minimize denials and optimize revenue cycle Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to meet productivity and revenue goals Staff Management & Development Foster a positive, collaborative team culture with low staff turnover Recruit, hire, onboard, and train clinical and administrative staff Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary actions as needed Coordinate continuing education and professional development opportunities Business Development & Community Relations Build and maintain referral relationships with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers Represent the clinic at community events, health fairs, and marketing initiatives Identify opportunities for service line expansion or new program development Ensure all clinical documentation meets regulatory, payer, and company standards Oversee clinical quality, evidence-based practice, and patient outcomes across the clinic Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for staff therapists, PTAs, and support staff Ensure compliance with state practice acts, licensure requirements, and APTA standards Skills Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation medicine principles, physiology, anatomy, and rehabilitation regulations. Strong leadership skills in clinical team management and staff development. Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques including manual handling and patient rehabilitation strategies. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during patient transfers or equipment handling. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Prior experience managing rehabilitation services within rehabilitation centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with acute care environments and experience working with patients requiring intensive therapy interventions. $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
