This is not a patient mill. We don't stack patients or hand off cases to someone who hasn't read the chart. You'll work as part of a small, collaborative team alongside owner Scott Christensen, DPT , who is certified in trigger point dry needling. We value clinical judgment, honest communication and therapists who care about what happens to their patients after they leave the clinic. Most patients who walk through our doors have already tried something that didn't work. At Rx Rehab Physical Therapy, we take a different approach: measure first, then treat. We use strength testing, 3D motion capture and video movement analysis to understand what's actually happening. Our goal is for every patient to leave their first visit knowing what's wrong, what we're going to do about it, and what it will take to reach their goals.
What You'll Do:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care around goals that matter to the patient Use objective testing to guide treatment and measure progress Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and dry needling when clinically appropriate Collaborate with other therapists while maintaining continuity based on patient needs and preferences Educate patients honestly about their condition and options, including when another level of care or surgical consultation may be appropriate We're looking for a PT who: Believes strongly in the value of physical therapy and practices accordingly Is dependable, self-directed and accountable Cares about outcomes, not simply completing visits Communicates honestly with patients and colleagues Wants to continue developing clinically Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Current Utah Physical Therapist license or eligible for Utah licensure
•Dry needling certification is not required at hire but is expected to be obtained during employment. If you're looking to leave high-volume, assembly-line therapy behind and want to work somewhere that gives you the opportunity to evaluate thoughtfully, treat intentionally and see the results of your work , we'd like to hear from you.
