In person About Us Christmas in Color, by Wonder Entertainment, is a large-scale drive-thru Christmas light show featuring millions of synchronized lights, music, tunnels, displays, and other holiday attractions. We're looking for a Field Technician to help set up and support the technical side of the show. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic technical knowledge who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn more. You do not need to be an expert. Training, instructions, and guidance will be provided throughout the setup process. Candidates with additional technical or field experience are also encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Your main responsibility will be to follow our technical plans and instructions to help get the Christmas show up and running.
This may include:
Running and connecting network and data cables Connecting controllers, equipment, and power Helping configure and connect devices on the show network Following diagrams and technical setup instructions Testing equipment and helping identify basic connection issues Using hand and power tools during installation Helping power on, test, and prepare the show for operation Working alongside our build and technical teams What We're Looking For You should have a basic understanding of: Network/Ethernet cables IP addresses and basic networking Computer operating systems Connecting and troubleshooting electronic equipment Hand and power tools Knowledge of IT troubleshooting practices You should also be comfortable learning new systems and following step-by-step technical instructions. Experience with networking, IT, electrical systems, lighting, live events, construction, or similar work is a plus, but not required . What We Provide Hands-on training and guidance Clear technical plans and instructions Experience working with large-scale lighting, networking, and show-control systems Opportunity to develop your technical skills in a unique live-event environment This is a seasonal position running from mid September through January and is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, working with their hands, and seeing a project come together from setup through operation.

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Ability to
