Position Overview Flexi Motion Ortho Rehabilitation Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia. Work Environment This position is onsite, providing the beneficial interaction that therapists and patients need for maximum engagement in the rehabilitation process. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and nursing staff, to promote an integrated approach to patient care. The facility is designed to offer a welcoming, resource-rich atmosphere where healing and teamwork are paramount. Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will be responsible for: Developing, implementing, and assessing individualized treatment plans designed to achieve optimal recovery outcomes for patients facing orthopedic challenges. Engaging in collaborative case discussions with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy that encompasses all aspects of patient health. Educating patients and their families about their rehabilitation processes, empowering them with knowledge regarding the importance of adherence to therapy routines. Performing facility education sessions to increase understanding and utilization of therapy resources across the nursing team. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes to uphold compliance with all regulatory standards. Participating actively in Care Plan Meetings to present updates on patient progress, contribute insights, and make adjustments as needed to treatment protocols. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on orthopedic patients who may include those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, falls, or chronic pain conditions. You will be entrusted with providing both therapeutic interventions and emotional support, playing a crucial role in their journey to regain strength, mobility, and independence. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Current Physical Therapy license, in good standing, in the state of Virginia. Current CPR certification to ensure preparedness for any medical emergencies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective patient engagement and teamwork. A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for any necessary travel related to patient care. Commitment to lifelong learning and staying updated on best practices in orthopedic therapy. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred for applicants: Prior work experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where you have catered to similar patient demographics and conditions. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy, enhancing clinical knowledge and treatment applications. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and lead initiatives that improve patient outcomes or therapy services. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
