Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs based on their recovery status from injury, surgery, or illness. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities best suited to individual patient goals. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including stretching maneuvers and equipment, to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Carefully track and document treatments, patient responses, and progress to ensure alignment with therapeutic goals. Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans and goals as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and the use of assistive devices if needed. Engage with other health care professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided to each patient. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices through ongoing education, workshops, and professional networking opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those managing chronic pain. You will be tasked with evaluating and catering to the unique therapeutic needs of adult and pediatric patients, making your approach highly adaptable and patient-centric. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Virginia. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, to maintain accurate documentation. Demonstrate flexibility and agility in adapting treatment plans according to real-time patient feedback and progress. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not mandatory, at least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred. Experience with a wide range of physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from

USD 100,000

to 120,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
