Work Environment Located in the vibrant town of Ashburn, Virginia, our facility provides an onsite work setting that fosters collaboration and team-based care. You will work alongside a dynamic group of professionals, including two other skilled physical therapists, in an environment that promotes learning, growth, and a patient-centered approach. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a flexible schedule that enhances work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual patient goals and needs, providing tailored treatment plans. Deliver one-on-one patient care, engaging with each patient for 40-minute sessions focused on improving mobility and reducing pain. Implement effective treatment techniques aimed at maximizing patients' range of motion and strength while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions. Develop and oversee personalized wellness and fitness programs that promote long-term health and injury prevention. Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve their personal health objectives. Document patient progress accurately using our EMR system, Athena Health, ensuring precise tracking of treatments and outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and facilitate cross-referrals when necessary. Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications and exercises to support recovery and prevent future injuries. Patient Population / Client Focus At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we primarily serve a diverse clientele, including athletes and community members in need of orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our practice primarily accepts patients with private medical insurance, alongside some private pay individuals, emphasizing our commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality care that meets each patient's unique needs. Qualifications A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy is required. A graduate degree, preferably a Master of Science or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), from an accredited institution is necessary. A minimum of two years' experience working as a physical therapist in an outpatient setting is mandatory. Strong clinical knowledge of treatment modalities and current best practices in physical therapy. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and staff. Demonstrated ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient responses and needs. A continuous drive for professional development, indicating a commitment to staying updated with advances in rehabilitation and therapy techniques. Preferred Experience Experience working with a variety of patient demographics, particularly athletes, is highly desirable. Previous exposure to EMR systems, particularly Athena Health, will be advantageous. Proficiency in creating and leading diverse fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient needs. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive yearly salary range of $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
