Work Environment This role requires providing care onsite in a home care setting, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention in the comfort of their own environment. You will work alongside a small and dynamic team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, supporting each other in day-to-day operations and case management. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify needs and establish objectives for treatment. Develop and administer individualized treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and strength. Encourage patient participation in their recovery by offering motivation and support throughout the therapy process. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatments are recorded accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Employ manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to individual patient requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies that address the full scope of patient health. Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and promote lifestyle changes that encourage wellness. Maintain a patient load of one appointment per hour, ensuring adequate time for quality interaction and tailored care. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on patients who require orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly those with conditions managed under private medical insurance. This includes individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no history of disciplinary action. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing and implementing exercise programs. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years' experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is ideal, as it will enhance your ability to handle diverse patient needs effectively. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from

to 140,000, commensurate with experience.
