Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Synchrony Rehabilitation Center in Dulles, Virginia. This full-time role will involve evaluating, planning, and implementing tailored treatment programs for our patients. Work Environment This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Dulles, Virginia. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to ascertain their needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Implement individualized therapy programs focused on areas such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by actively engaging with patients and contributing positively to their overall therapy experience. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based care strategies and techniques. Provide in-home therapeutic interventions when appropriate, ensuring that treatment aligns with each patient's physician-approved plan of care. Educate and empower patients and their caregivers with knowledge about their conditions and recovery pathways. Exceed minimum utilization goals while actively participating in achieving business objectives. Patient Population / Client Focus At Synchrony Rehabilitation Center, our diverse clientele includes patients ranging from children to seniors, each with unique needs stemming from various medical conditions. We serve individuals requiring rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Our commitment to personalized care ensures that every treatment plan is tailored to the specific goals and challenges of each patient. Qualifications Active Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. Current valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Virginia. Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey treatment plans and interact with patients. Ability to utilize word processing and therapy-related software systems. Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and build trust. Preferred Experience We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient therapy setting. Experience in diverse specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, and sports medicine, will be beneficial. A proven track record in utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve significant patient outcomes is also highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for the Physical Therapist role is competitive, with a salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 per year.
