Work Environment The position is based onsite at our comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Dulles, Virginia. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and technologies designed to support the provision of high-quality physical therapy. As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating personalized treatment plans based on individual needs. Implement a variety of treatment techniques to elevate patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education. Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary and documenting outcomes in accordance with best practices. Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions with patients enhance their experience within our care pathway. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment approaches and share insights to maximize recovery outcomes. Educate and empower patients and their families, providing insights into effective strategies for ongoing care and wellness. Achieve and maintain utilization goals and other key performance indicators tailored to enhance operational effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a varied demographic, treating patients across a spectrum of specialties including orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric care, neurological disorders, and sports medicine. This diverse clientele provides clinicians with opportunities to utilize a broad range of therapeutic techniques, adapting care to meet the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on written and verbal communication. Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing and documentation software. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with patients, fostering trust and enhancing their recovery experience. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in patient care.
