Position Overview Stalwart Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Dulles, Virginia. Work Environment This position is based onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team. Our facility features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and resources designed to support both patient recovery and staff efficiency. Typically, the role entails a 40-hour work week, with some variable weekend hours based on patient and departmental needs. Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Stalwart Rehabilitation Center, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, functional limitations, and disabilities, developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Provide consultation to other healthcare providers regarding patient care, ensuring continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process. Facilitate effective interactions with patients, respecting their age, culture, and diverse backgrounds while adhering to our exemplary customer service standards. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in compliance with legal and professional documentation standards. Implement, modify, and re-evaluate treatment plans, educating patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and expected outcomes. Lead community outreach initiatives and assist in program development and cost-containment efforts to enhance departmental efficiency. Supervise and mentor support staff, students, and interns, ensuring optimal team performance and adherence to best practices in patient care. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, contributing to staff meetings, and participate in professional development opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on treating individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, fractures, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We emphasize a holistic approach to care, addressing not only the physical but also the emotional aspects of healing. Each interaction is an opportunity to foster empowerment, combining clinical expertise with compassionate support tailored to each patient's unique needs. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with all state regulations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in electronic documentation and word processing applications. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, previous experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is preferred. Familiarity with current industry best practices, treatment methodologies, and multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits Stalwart Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
