Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Up Stream Physiotherapy Clinic, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing assessments to create customized treatment plans. Explaining evaluation results and treatment strategies to both patients and their families, fostering a collaborative approach to goal setting and rehabilitation. Implementing treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient's progress and the evolving healthcare landscape. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients, recognizing when modifications in the treatment plan are necessary based on changes in medical condition. Documenting evaluations and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring clarity in each patient's course of action, including focused evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries. Managing time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule. Engaging in marketing initiatives that promote our clinic and enhance community relationships. Taking initiative in personal professional development through continuing education and serving as a clinical instructor to students. Enhancing the patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to their needs. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, developing customized treatment plans that cater to their unique circumstances. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. A strong commitment to quality patient care and professional ethics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be given preference. A background in evidence-based practice and familiarity with electronic medical record systems will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits This position offers an attractive salary range of
