Key Responsibilities Evaluative Services:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results to create tailored treatment plans.
Patient Engagement:
Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting and recovery strategies.
Treatment Protocols:
Implement recommended treatment protocols with proficiency, taking into consideration patients' unique presentations and clinical evidence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, recognizing changes in patients' conditions and adjusting plans as necessary, including potential consultations with specialists.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Time Management:
Demonstrate effective time management skills by managing care schedules efficiently and meeting productivity targets.
Marketing Participation:
Engage in community outreach and marketing activities, supporting the department's growth and visibility within the community.
Professional Development:
Take initiative in pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring students in clinical practice.
Customer Experience:
Ensure a high-quality customer experience through flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs and preferences. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals post-surgery, those with sports injuries, and patients dealing with chronic pain conditions. By providing personalized care, you will contribute to improving their functional abilities and enhancing their overall well-being. Qualifications A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Current CPR certification is required. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
