Requirements Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and client communication techniques is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfer methods safely within hospital or outpatient settings. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure preparedness for emergency situations. Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, hospital medicine, or sub-acute care environments is advantageous. Strong understanding of physiotherapy practices related to geriatrics, post-acute care, and rehabilitation support.
