Position Overview Empower Rehab Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Herndon, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist at Empower Rehab Clinic, you will enjoy a collaborative work environment where you can engage with a skilled team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide seamless consultation regarding the continuum of care for patients. Maintain high customer service standards through effective communication and empathetic interactions with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Evaluate treatment results and adjust discharge plans according to professional standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely, including evaluations, treatment charges, and progress notes in electronic health records. Supervise and educate support staff, including physical therapy assistants and athletic trainers, fostering a hands-on learning environment. Engage in community outreach initiatives, marketing activities, and quality improvement projects to enhance clinic visibility and effectiveness. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development through continuing education and staff training. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our clinic provides care for diverse age groups, from young athletes to elderly patients, focusing on functional recovery and rehabilitation. Understanding the specific needs of each patient is crucial, and you will play a key role in customizing their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current state license in Physical Therapy, adhering to all regulatory requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and the healthcare team. Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills for documentation and communication. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and previous involvement in community outreach or patient education programs will be beneficial in this role. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 100,000
