Description:
Position Overview Stalwart Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Herndon, Virginia. Work Environment Our physical rehabilitation facility in Herndon, Virginia, is designed to foster a constructive and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients referred to our center. Utilize evidence-based practices to effectively treat a spectrum of conditions, particularly focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Facilitate engaging and informative sessions with patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand the treatment process and are educated about their rehabilitation. Demonstrate exemplary customer service by being attentive to patient needs and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in every interaction. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure adherence to best practices in rehabilitation. Regularly meet utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's overall effectiveness while following the prescribed plan of care from attending physicians. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse client base encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other physical impairments. Our patients range from pediatric to elderly, each presenting unique challenges that require specialized, individualized rehabilitation approaches. Your ability to foster connections will be key in motivating these patients to achieve their goals and restore their quality of life. Qualifications A Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (APTA or CAPTE-approved). A valid State License in Physical Therapy for Virginia. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members. Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications. A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, empathetic relationships with patients. Commitment to lifelong learning and a strong desire to positively engage with individuals in clinical settings. Preferred Experience While experience in physical therapy is advantageous, we welcome recent graduates with a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation. Previous experience in a team-oriented, multispecialty environment is a plus and will help enhance your contribution to our mission. Experience in developing and implementing innovative rehabilitation programs is also welcomed. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, combined with a comprehensive benefits package.
