Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their mobility and physical condition to develop customized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions across a variety of specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. Provide quality direct patient care through skilled therapy techniques tailored to each patient's needs while following physician guidelines. Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment procedures and ongoing care, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary to meet individual goals and objectives. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based care practices. Engage with patients and contribute to maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service, reinforcing the positives of their recovery journey. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, individuals with neurological conditions, and athletes seeking rehabilitation. Our approach is focused on patient-centered care, creating tailored treatment plans that not only address physical impairments but also empower patients to achieve their personal functional goals. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). A current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained through the American Heart Association or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective patient interactions. Proficient computer and word processing skills necessary for documenting patient care and treatment plans. A commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients and actively engaging in their recovery process. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting, is required. Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities, assessment tools, and rehabilitation technologies will be advantageous in this role. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary between
USD 100,000
