Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice located in Centreville, Virginia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives by facilitating their recovery and enhancing their physical abilities. About the Organization At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility. We focus on creating customized treatment plans that address the individual needs of our clients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. With a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, our practice primarily accepts private medical insurance, allowing us to provide the highest level of service and support for our patients. Work Environment This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Centreville, Virginia. Our state-of-the-art clinic features cutting-edge equipment and a collaborative team of professionals, including two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). We foster a supportive and dynamic professional environment where team members work together to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients. The practice maintains a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Assess and identify patients' individual goals and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive evaluations. Provide treatment sessions to 2 to 3 patients per hour, ensuring efficient time management while delivering personalized care. Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to create targeted intervention strategies that enhance patients' motion and mobility. Develop and implement cost-effective treatment plans that aim to reduce dependency on medications and alternative therapies, including surgery. Incorporate various evidence-based treatment techniques to facilitate rehabilitation, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Design fitness and wellness programs that promote ongoing patient engagement and support their long-term health goals. Monitor patient progress, make adjustments as needed, and effectively communicate results to both patients and team members. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care services to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies. Patient Population / Client Focus As part of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our commitment to personalized care means that you will engage actively with patients to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation, helping them improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. We believe in empowering our patients to adopt healthier lifestyles and maintain optimal levels of function. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia. No disciplinary actions or board actions on your license. Excellent manual therapy skills along with proficiency in exercise prescription. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and record keeping. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic outpatient care. Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage patients during treatment to enhance recovery outcomes. Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
